Here
is the interior of the third floor with stainless steel skin and some windows.
The
inside will be skinned identically to the outside after the voids are stuffed absolutely
full of fiberglass insulation.
The barn is packed full of fiberglas and styrofoam
insulation.
The expanded polystyrene insulation (styrofoam) accumulates naturally
in the course of daily live.
It is not reycleable. Dean insulated the entirity
of the old farmhouse and his parent's new house with ground styrofoam.
Also the
styrofoam peanuts are great to throw into the attic.
They are non-toxic and have
the same "R" value as fiberglas and don't cause "pink lung".
Observe
the slotted, galvanized steel grating that will be become balcony floor at some point.
Until
the roof is on, the three inch thick flooring resides in the trailer out front.
