American Timber Salvage is producer, sawyer and miller of wood products from
Long Leaf Yellow Pine salvaged from St. Louis Buildings.
Many of the huge timbers
are in excess of sixteen inches by sixteen inches by sixteen feet and are often a
hundred years old.
The trees from which they were originally milled in the 1880's
and 1890's themselves were in excess of three hundred years old.

Pine is finely, tightly grained old-growth wood and highly desirable for rustic,
organic settings.
American Timer Salvage is owned by Bruce Gerrie who was the
number two co-founder and investor of City Museum (after Bob and before Dean).
Bruce
was the Architectural Director there for a number of years before Bob's untimely
demise.
He and his eminently qualified partner in crime have produced a number
of fine architectural exhibits.
American Timber salvage has multiple locations including showrooms and production
facities
Their sawmill off Broadway in St. Louis boasts a state-of-the-art Kubota
band saw on rails.
It is capable of milling the largest timber with digital readout
and controls to insure perfection.
