William Boardman of Firehouse Contracting has the bad luck to have the farm in the diagonally adjacent quarter section.
When the Taj Mahal of Illinois becomes one of the wonders of the world, he will bemoan the traffic and loss of tranquility.
Or he can get a McDonald's franchise and have royalty checks sent to his condo in Lillehammer.
Seems pretty straight forward to me....

Bill's role in all this, apart from pumping concrete one day and miscellaneous welds, has been to supply an inexhaustable font of knowledge.
He was trained as a machinist at U.S.Steel and gravitated to high-end, premium construction projects.
He has garnered AIA awards and all the ratings on the internet say "5-star".
The exceedingly difficult jobs that architects, corporations and jack-leg carpenters only pretend they can do- he can.
Most recently- an etched glass stairway that required diamond drilling of holes in multi-thousand dollar panels.
Great for one's stress levels.
His flagship work is for himself and posterity in restoring and retrofitting his grandfather's homestead in southern Illinois.
He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Heartlands which is a nature conservancy steward.
